ProAct Sales: Established September 1, 1991 by founder Rich Radimer

Our mission is to provide a select group of manufacturers an intensely focused and active level of representation directed to Metro NY’s finest custom residential and commercial AV installers and consultants, as well as architects and designers.

Our success and growth has been built upon representation of best-in-class brands and fielding talented sales and administrative resources.

Our investment and reinvestment in demonstration systems, personnel, training, and physical plant are unparalleled in our market. We maintain a state-of-the-art contact management database, e-mail broadcast capability, and in-house publishing expertise. We are proficient in both Mac and PC applications and, as a result, our vendor-to-field communications are the most timely and efficient in our marketplace.

Spectacular on-site outdoor demonstration

We have built out, installed, and constantly maintain one of the most sophisticated interactive demonstration and training facilities in our market, allowing us to exhibit and explain many of the more expensive and technically competent products we represent. We presently demonstrate indoor and outdoor architectural speakers both visible and invisible. We also display mirror, waterproof, and outdoor televisions, indoor and outdoor lighting, lighting control, media servers, audio and video distribution, and freestanding home theater speaker systems. In addition, we also maintain and constantly upgrade mobile demonstrations which allow us to meet our dealers at their customers’ homes in order to provide them with an experience of the product in their indoor or outdoor living space environment.

We maintain a sophisticated physical (as well as virtual) classroom training space where we host regularly scheduled product and installation trainings in concert with our vendors. These events are held many times a year, and are customized to serve the needs of our vendors and dealers. Application specific trainings are also conducted, tailored to a dealer's specific needs on an as requested basis.

We are committed to discovering emerging application oriented products and to effectively train our dealers in their use and installation. We also have design and specification competence wherein we are able to assist our growing dealers to reach the “next level” in their proposals and projects. This expertise has helped to create a reliance on us on the part of our dealers and has become a significant factor in our growth.
